Bereavement Airfare Dying is part of life, but not a happy time, which makes trying to fly somewhere even more of a pain. When someone dies far away from where you live you have to go NOW, not in 2 weeks. Flights that are booked with only a few days notice cost a huge amount of money. Most of you probably don't know that most airlines have bereavement airfares that are much cheaper than the standard fares. I used this myself when my brother died. Go to http://book.your-travel.biz and book your travel or one way airfare. I don't think you can get a first class airfare this way. A number of years ago I booked a bereavement flight on American Airlines. I still appreciate American Airlines offering that bereavement flight to help make a bad time a little better.
